Yes! Artkiv is free to download and use with all the essential features. The free version is perfect for getting started with your collection management. We offer a Premium subscription that unlocks unlimited items, removes ads, and gives you unlimited backups—but you can use the core app forever without paying a dime!
No! Artkiv is designed to work completely offline. Perfect for craft fairs, markets, or anywhere without reliable internet. All your data stays on your device. You only need internet if you choose to view ads (free version) or manage your Premium subscription.
Absolutely! Your data never leaves your device. We don't have servers that store your items, transactions, or any personal information. You can also protect access to Artkiv with biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint) or a passcode.
Artkiv is available for both iOS and Android (Coming Soon) devices. It's optimized for phones but also works great on tablets.
Since Artkiv stores data locally, your data is included in your device's standard backup:
We strongly recommend keeping regular backups to prevent data loss.
Yes! When you restore your new device from a backup, your Artkiv data will be transferred automatically. For iOS, use iCloud or iTunes backup. For Android, use Google Backup or transfer tools provided by your device manufacturer.
Important: Uninstalling Artkiv will delete all data stored by the app on your device. Make sure you have a device backup before uninstalling if you want to preserve your data.

If you've set up biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint), try using that to access the app. Unfortunately, if you've forgotten your passcode and cannot use biometrics, the only option may be to reinstall the app, which will delete your data. This is why we recommend keeping regular device backups.
